Culture & History: Photos of Jersey

Jersey has a rich past including the most poignant attraction, which are the 1000 metre network of tunnels dug over 50 metres deep underground  by over 5,000 labourers from European nations. The island was occupied for five years by the Germans and the harrowing stories of this time can be witnessed at the Jersey War Tunnels Museum.

Picturesque Vineyard: Photos of Jersey

For wine lovers a visit to La Mare Wine Estate is a must – it’s the only vineyard in Jersey. La Mare produces 30,000 bottles a year, with around 120 additional products per year including the famous black butter. The vines are a beautiful sight along with the surrounding countryside, farm house and do not miss a visit to their on-site restaurant.

There’s also a shop so you can purchase your favourite wine and other produce to enjoy at home.
